I am using Rogaine to prevent hairloss, but I take a quarter Xanax bar on weekends to help me go to sleep, to be well rested. Is this enough to make me lose hair?
It's a very small amount, but it really helps.Does Xanax cause hair loss?
Xanax can cause hair loss, but I would think that if you are thinner in the frontal area, then you may be having genetic women/ male patterned hair loss. Occurrence of hair loss can be due to several factors. Although most the common cause of hair loss at any age whether male/ women pattern baldness, anxiety could be considered an aggravating factor for your hair loss. Hair loss is not one of the commonly known side effects of Xanax. I heard that some people who just got started on Xanax lose hair, but it is hard to prove that their hair loss is really associated with Xanax or if it has to do with anxiety itself. I hope this helps you, Good luck and I hope you have a Divine DayDoes Xanax cause hair loss?
Yes I took xanax for 3 years and my hair was falling out like crazy until my doc. changed my meds. and it stopped to a normal hair loss instead of handfulls.

Can a boil cause hair loss?
I have been growing my hair out for the last couple of months and noticed a painful bump in my hair. Its kind of small but close to medium size. Since my hair is long I cant really see it well. It just appears to be a little swollen. I havnt noticed any redness. It hurts when I aply pressure. I dont remember ever bumping my head. Im thinking it could be a boil. Im making sure that i wash my hair and especially that spot. Im planning to cut my hair soon and I dont want it to show so im gonna wait til it goes down. Also can bumps like this cause hair loss? What can I aply to it to help it go downCan a boil cause hair loss?
they can if they get too big. separate your hair and apply a hot rag to it several times a day until it comes to a head and pops or just goes away itself ...it could also be an ingrown hair...

Can itchy scalp cause hair loss??
only if your pullin your hair outCan itchy scalp cause hair loss??
why do you have itchy scalp? Is it because of the heating system in your home? Is it because of the drying shampoo you use? Is it just because you simply have dry skin? Are you excessively using your hair dryer? Are you making sure all the soap is off your scalp when you rinse it? Anyway when the scalp gets dry it flakes and the flakes can cover the hair follicle and stop the hair growth. So find out what the problem is and either change your shampoo, get some alcohol and first treat the scalp and then use a not-so-strong shampoo until you can figure out what's wrong. Try maybe a weak shampoo like Johnson %26amp; Johnson baby shampoo for a while, and make sure you have all the soap off your scalp. If you want to make sure all the soap is off you might want to try a vinegar rinse. Sure it will fragrance the first time, but you probably wash your hair often anyway and the fragrance will go away in one wash. Can itchy scalp cause hair loss??
Quite possibly
It'll cause dandruff and irritation from scratching it so much.
Hair loss comes from damage, particularly chemicals. And as you age. Pulling the hair out will not cause hair loss. If you continually do it over time, then yes it can cause hair loss...but not from pulling it out just once or twice. It's like tweezing eyebrows. They still grow back, but over the YEARS of constantly plucking them the hairs grow back thinner and less and less until they're not there.
I do not believe so because I have a family member who was dry scalp and she itches it a lot. I can tell you though, it causes bleeding and scabs on your scalp and It will look like dandruff because of this white flake stuff comming off your scalp.
yes it means that you need to wash it real good because if you don't then your hair is going to get dry and fall out

How does starvation cause hair loss?
What is it in starvation that causes hair loss?
Is it the fact I'm not getting enough calories?
or protein?
or vitamins?
or simply because I'm making myself hungry beyond words?
I eat an apple, bowl of nuts, and a bowl of dry cereal in the morning
I have a chicken or salmon salad during lunch
and because I feel like I had enough calories from the morning
I eat a bowl of frozen grapes for dinner
and after I get hungry and I like that feeling.
I don't want to change how I eat
I don't eat meat except lean meat (chicken, turkey) and seafood.
But even then I don't eat a lot of it either.
Definitely not as much nuts.
I'm trying to lose weight and the feeling of hunger I get after the grapes make me feel good. If I don't feel hungry before I got to bed I stay up all night until I get hungry.
I don't want to lose my hair though
So that's why I was wondering, should I take protein pills?
I just started to take multivitamins for teens (Im 17y/o)How does starvation cause hair loss?
Yes. because when you stop eating, all of the nutrients stop going to your scalp and stop nourishing your hair. How does starvation cause hair loss?

Can stress really cause hair loss (male pattern baldness - ';M' shaped in the front)?
I have been very stressed lately (after the death of my dad two years ago) and I have been to my doctor a couple of times and to the ER one time because I have been having chest pains and back pains.. my doctor took an X-ray, EKG and bloodtests... they came out all normal. My doctor told me that I am just stressed out so she referred me to see a counselor which i am currently seeing. Now my chest pains and backpains went away, but now i am more forgetful than before and sometimes I can't concentrate when im doing my homework and school essays. My question is can Stress cause hair loss such as male pattern baldness? I have been experiencing male pattern baldness in the front (';M'; shaped) and i went to see my doctor also about it and she told me its normal and she told me to take rogaine, so I have been taking that medication for almost a year now. The only thing is I have read a lot of articles online that severe stress can cause hair to fall out and if your stress is finally under controlled then your hair will regrow in 6 months or so. IS that true? is that mean that if i finally able to control my stress, my hair in the front will finally grow again? should i continue taking rogaine? or should i stop and wait for 6 months, and check if my hair will grow back. I am only 21 years old and my dad had thin hair but he never experienced male pattern baldness. So i'm very confused. please help!
thank you for your time. Can stress really cause hair loss (male pattern baldness - ';M' shaped in the front)?
no. you can pull your hair out from stress, or get alopecia where patches of hair fall out. but male pattern baldness is in your genes stress has nothing to do with it.Can stress really cause hair loss (male pattern baldness - ';M' shaped in the front)?

Whatt can cause hair loss at the age of 14?
My friend has been losing her hair, and shes 14.
She doesn't do anything harsh to her hair. Only straightening, and she using a heat protector.
But since shes been losing a lot of hair, she stopped for about 2 weeks.
She said when she drains the bathtub water, the bathtub is covered in hair =/
She hasn't been eating lunch, can that be a cause?
and its our first year of Highschool, so could it be just because shes stress about homework?
What causes hair loss?
and how can you get your hair to grow back quickly with home remedies?Whatt can cause hair loss at the age of 14?
A number of things can cause excessive hair loss. For example, about 3 or 4 months after an illness or a major surgery, you may suddenly lose a large amount of hair. This hair loss is related to the stress of the illness and is temporary.
Hormonal problems may cause hair loss. If your thyroid gland is overactive or underactive, your hair may fall out. This hair loss usually can be helped by treatment thyroid disease. Hair loss may occur if male or female hormones, known as androgens and estrogens, are out of balance. Correcting the hormone imbalance may stop your hair loss.
Many women notice hair loss about 3 months after they've had a baby. This loss is also related to hormones. During pregnancy, high levels of certain hormones cause the body to keep hair that would normally fall out. When the hormones return to pre-pregnancy levels, that hair falls out and the normal cycle of growth and loss starts again.
Some medicines can cause hair loss. This type of hair loss improves when you stop taking the medicine. Medicines that can cause hair loss include blood thinners (also called anticoagulants), medicines used for gout, medicines used in chemotherapy to treat cancer, vitamin A (if too much is taken), birth control pills and antidepressants.
Certain infections can cause hair loss. Fungal infections of the scalp can cause hair loss in children. The infection is easily treated with antifungal medicines.
Finally, hair loss may occur as part of an underlying disease, such as lupus or diabetes. Since hair loss may be an early sign of a disease, it is important to find the cause so that it can be treated.Whatt can cause hair loss at the age of 14?
Hair loss during adolescence can mean a person may be sick or just not eating right. Some medications or medical treatments, like chemotherapy treatment for cancer, also cause hair loss. People can even lose their hair if they wear a hairstyle that pulls on the hair for a long time, such as braids.
Losing hair can be stressful during a time when you're already concerned about appearance. Most of the time, hair loss during the teen years is temporary. With temporary hair loss, the hair usually grows back after the problem that causes it is corrected.
If you have hair loss and don't know what's causing it, talk to your doctor. A doctor can determine why the hair is falling out and suggest a treatment that will correct the underlying problem, if necessary.
Time to see a dermatologist, Your friend's sudden hair loss needs to be investigated. Maybe she has a form of alopecia, which could be caused by any number of factors.
Home remedies don't grow hair back very well. Again, a doctor would be able to advise whether your friend's sudden hair loss is less serious than it seems to be, or a symptom of something seriously wrong in your friend's body. Plus a doctor could recommend medication to slow or stop the hair loss.
Common causes of hair loss in teens can include stress, improper nutrition (for healthy hair on the outside you need to be healthy on the inside) hormone changes, and some skin/scalp problems such as dandruff. Dandruff can make hair fall out and is a common cause of hair fall. Unfortunately there are also a couple serious health problems that can lead to hair loss so a visit to the doctor's might be in order for your friend. It could also be And this is really icky Head lice. YUCK! if she sees little critters crawling in her hair then that is the cause of her hair problems.
If she isn't sick then get to the ';root'; of the problem. Root? Hair? that was a feeble attempt at humor. She needs to check her scalp for flaky, red, dry, oily dandruffy or irritated skin. That can be helped with a zinc containing shampoo such as good old Head and Shoulders. Hormones there isn't much that can be done about them, and for good health she needs to eat three to five healthy meals a day. And don't eat garbage! Eat real food! Stress is harder to cure. If nothing helps then another doctor visit will be in order, again there are treatments for medial related hair loss in teens. it is a real medical condition and there are real treatments for it.
not a good sign hun :(
it could be stress, my best advice would be to see a doctor
and quick it could be something minor so don't worry.
You should advise her to tell her parents.
There are Womens Hair Regrowth kits usually used for older women with bald spots, they can be purchased at a drug store.
If you want the best for your friend tell her to see a doctor.
Hope it works out.
Good Luck!
Stress.
I'm guessing this because she doesn't eat lunch.
It may also be anorexia.
My personal experience says stress, but not from homework, it would be way more then that.
Stress is a big part of it, as well if you've ever died your hair, or a poor diet, plus you lose 100 strands a day.

What can cause hair loss?
In the last two weeks I've noticed an excessive amount of hair loss when I comb out my hair in the morning.
What would cause it?What can cause hair loss?
wow.....alopecia can be several problems in one...........nerves,low thyroid, zinc deficient, biotin defcient, wrong shampoo,etc.........see doc for tests for all above and see.........What can cause hair loss?
anyway as we know - hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! Find out the actual cause of hair loss! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few.
year ago my husband suffered from hair loss too and he started trying everything you can imagine to stop his hair loss. the things that really worked for him was:
1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;
2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;
3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;
4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);
5) also he used herbal treatment - TrichoZed
It is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!
It worked and still works for him!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.trichozed.com/?id=fc7a24
It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!
good luck!

1st of all, dont panic! Hair always grows back. Ppl lose 100 hairs a day, but if its more than that, you should prob call a doctor, to get a blood test to see if you have enough iron. Take a multivitamin, when I had hairloss, even flinstones helped lol. Biotin is an essential mineral for growth. Hair loss can be from over washing/blowdrying, too much grease in hair, too much brushing, stress, and most importantly poor diet. Make sure you eat right, and enough. This is why people with anorexia experience hair loss. Also, be gentle with it, and drink LOTS of water, it helps, trust me.
Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems.Perming, straightening, hair dyeing and bleaching ,hot combing, using heated rollers and hot wax inevitably damage the hair.Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp.
1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;
2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;
3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;
4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);
5) also he used herbal treatment - TrichoZed

Can Depakote cause hair loss?
I have been on Depakote now for about 5 months. About 2 months ago, I started losing my hair. Not just pieces breaking off but globs and brushfulls of hair from my roots. I went to get my hair cut last week and my beautician told me that my hair is really healthy but I really need to contact my doctor because something is definently wrong. I know that it is not my thyroid,I just got that checked out. I am on other medications but my Pharmacist told me that Depakote and Flexeral(which I don't take often)may be the issue but my doctor who prescribes my Depakote told me he does not think that it is from the Depakote. Just wanted some insite from you all. Maybe you all have been on Depakote before and have had this problem. Can Depakote cause hair loss?

depakote (valproic acid) can definitely cause alopecia, which is a medical condition that causes your hair to fall out. it's a rare side effect that happens in about 5% of people who take it. you should talk to your doctor about it again and see if there's another medicine like it you can take.
Yes, what Dr.Lisa told is True.
Hi Friend, my daughter is also suffering from same problem. And I once told this to one of my best friend in my Office. She, told me about hair regrowth product called ';Provillus For Women';, I used ';Provillus For Women'; which is free and now I find lot of difference. Her hair is growing rapidly and is healthy now. I am very happy to see this. Now, She goes to school with happy SMILE's :).

What can cause hair loss in felines?
Hair loss in Cats - causes?
I have a long haired, black cat who is 6 years old. When she sheds, it often comes out in clumps. I just always thought this was how she sheds. A lot of her shedding comes from the neck area. You can usually tell what hair is coming out because it has a different color (more grey) and texture. This morning I was petting here and when I pet her neck, I moved the fur and noticed for the first time a large half-dollar sized bald spot on her neck. The skin is not red or irritated or seem to be bothering her in any way. Should I be concerned? She's been on revolution (flea and mite treatment) for almost a year now, but where I apply it is not where the bald spot is.
She does suffer from facial alopecia between her eyes and
ears, which is common in dark haired cats, but it's not severe.
Any help you can give is appreciated - I'm worried! What can cause hair loss in felines?
Stress, poor diet, and illness all cause hair loss in cats. Have the vet check her out so you can find the cause and treat it.

Can henna cause hair loss??
can henna cause hair loss when used to dye hair a lot of time???Can henna cause hair loss??
I just started henna-ing my hair, so I saw your question and got worried.
However, henna is supposed to be good for hair. This site says it's an ancient way of *controlling* hair loss, even. So in theory, it would help your hair grow, not make you lose more hair.
You may have the wrong sort of henna, or something else could be causing your hair loss. You should see a hair dresser, and if s/he things something is definitely wrong, go see a doctor. Can henna cause hair loss??
YES, if used to often...Henna is Known as a Hair Conditioner because it coated the hair, (similar to the liquids of a hot Candle wax) If the hair is overly done it becomes to heavy and this can cause it to Break....
no... it wont.. but it ll make the hair really frizzy and rope-like on prolonged usage..
not sure about hair loss, but its causes breakage. my hair became brittle, so i stopped using henna and use proper colour now.
Henna will not cause 'hair loss'. But it will cause breakage. If you want you hair colored, please see your stylist and get it done correctly. Henna can damage your hair very badly when used over time. If a stylist puts color over henna, it can cause the hair to burn (like over processing, it will feel like spaghetti and break severly). Please do not do this. See your stylist.
yes.
Unlikely. Certain ethnic groups have used it for centuries.
yes becuase its not meant for dying hair
I have read all the responses above, I think you people mentioning Henna is not the natural henna, it may be henna dye. Natural henna is green powder of the leaf of henna plant. I t wont couse any problem if u know HOW TO USE!!!!!

Is it true That Ontario`s water Contains Chlorine in it and causes Hair Loss? Is there a solution to it?
Maybe installing a filter for your shower ?Is it true That Ontario`s water Contains Chlorine in it and causes Hair Loss? Is there a solution to it?
Yes, installing a filter on your source water... shower, or whole house unit which is more expensive. You can install under the counter units as well which will remove chlorine... just read the filter's label to see what it removes. Hope this helps!

Can dandruff cause hair loss?
Dandruff will not cause hair loss. It is actually a form of psorosis, a mild form, but that is what it is.Can dandruff cause hair loss?

No, it is a good think too, becaue we would have a lot more bald people :-)
no, but sometimes dandruff is caused by a dry scalp and dry skin itches therefore you scratch it which i'd imagine can make your hair come out. if you have dandruff try gettin nuetrogena T-Gel. it's supposed to be real good for dandruff. if you can't find that get some selsun blue.
Yes, dandruff can cause some hair loss, but not balding, or total alopecia. (total hairloss)
Dandruff is a type of fungus. Obviously if your scalp isn't healthy, your hair isn't either. Some hair loss is common with severe dandruff particularly.
I recommend using a mild shampoo with tea tree oil which restores proper PH balance and is anti-fungal for starters.
I also recommend using products formulated with active ingredients like zinc pyrithione which stay in continual contact with your scalp to provide around the clock therapy.
Some studies have shown tea tree oil to reduce hair loss.
I have more information at my site.
only if the scalp is not treated and you repeatedly scratch at it.
to help between washes apply sorbolene cream for 5 minutes massage it in then rinse out, it is used to treat psorisis, seboratic dermatitis, and extremely dry skin conditions, the skin on your scalp will feel calmer and less itch.
Yes. Here a few simple home remedies which can be tried at home to control hair fall. To treat hair loss apply a little lemon juice with some black tea. Massage well and shampoo.Rub oil into the scalp. Wring out a towel in hot water and wrap it on the head. Keep it on for 15 minutes. Shampoo and dry well. Can Cymbalta cause hair loss? Will it grow back?
I swear my hair is thinning and that I can see my scalp more than I could before. It's freaking me out. (I'm 22 and female.) So: can Cymbalta cause hair loss and will it grow back? Will this side effect eventually go away, or will I have to go off the medication? Can Cymbalta cause hair loss? Will it grow back?
There might be other reasons for the thinning of your hair.
I take a thyroid medication as well as Cymbalta that I think might be making my hair thinner. A dermatologist might be able to check your scalp. Good Luck. Can Cymbalta cause hair loss? Will it grow back?
Ew. I hate all of these Anti-Depressants/Anxiety medications. Yes it will cause hair loss. It will grow back, maybe you should try asking to switch meds.red lipstick

What would cause hair loss? Oh and fatigue?
I don't know why but lately I've been very tired... I sleep like forever everyday and I'll still be tired. I sleep about a healthy 6 hours a day and a 2 hour nap sometimes. And I'm 15. Is it normal among teens or what? Or should I do something about my sleeping pattern? Any advice?
And I realize my hair is falling a lot. I've tried using a sh*tload of shampoo that prevents hair loss. But nothing happens. But is that what causes it to fall? Using too much shampoo?
And I really want this all to go away. I'm really afraid I might be bald. :SWhat would cause hair loss? Oh and fatigue?
A) Six hours does not seem like a very long time to sleep at all, especially for a teenager. If anything, you should probably be getting more sleep.
B)Some vitamin deficiencies cause hair loss.
C) Thyroid conditions (hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism) can both lead to hair loss and fatigue.
Other than that, you might actually be shampooing too much. That, coupled with your lack of proper sleep, may explain your ';condition';. You should definitely talk to a doctor, health professional, school nurse, etc. What would cause hair loss? Oh and fatigue?
Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems.Perming, straightening, hair dyeing and bleaching ,hot combing, using heated rollers and hot wax inevitably damage the hair.Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairfall.blogspot.com/ for more info.
You need more than 6 hours of sleep at night for one.
sometimes its stress related( the hair loss part)
the same thing is happening to me..its really weird

Can puberty cause hair loss?
I'm only 14. I'm trying to grow out my bangs for a scene haircut (haha) but I've been noticing it fall out more than ever. Maybe it's because I never used to notice my hair falling out whereas now I always check to see if any are hanging off. Anyway, my hair dresser says it might be because of unstable hormones during puberty. I'm not quite sure about that, but can puberty cause hair loss? What should I do? I'm also eating a bit less because I had been eating a lot due to depression and I'm trying to get skinnier (not that I'm overweight) -- but only a bit less, I'm still eating around 2,000 calories a day. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm paranoid and my mom keeps telling me humans lose 100 hairs a day so don't freak out, but that just freaks me out more.... Thanks.
P.S. I'm a man. I decided to ask this in Hair instead of Men's Health. Can puberty cause hair loss?
You're fine, it's normal. (:Can puberty cause hair loss?
Normally, about 10 percent of the hair on your head is resting (not growing). After a few months, the resting hair falls out and new hair begins to grow in its place. The growing phase can last from 2 to 6 years. While in the growing phase, hair will gain approximately 1 centimeter a month. It is normal to experience hair loss every day as part of this normal resting/growing cycle. Some people experience excessive hair loss from a variety of causes.
The cause of hair loss is multi-variable. Most people erroneously believe that hair loss is caused by things like bad circulation, stress, sweat and dirt on the scalp, or wearing hats. With the exception of stress, none of these factors has been proven as a cause of hair loss. Stress is also not very likely unless you have undergone extreme physical or psychological torture. This hair loss is also temporary.
The real cause of hair loss lies with hormonal problems. Hair loss occurs when male or female hormones (androgens and estrogens) are out of balance. An imbalance of hormones is usually a genetic trait that as of yet, cannot be cured. Male and female-pattern baldness is the most common form of hair loss. This is caused by a hormone called DHT, a naturally occurring hormone that helps in sexual development. After puberty, an increase in DHT causes an increase in binding at hair follicle protein receptor sites which throws the process of healthy hair growth off.
Other causes of hair loss may be medicine. Blood-thinners, medicines used in chemotherapy, an excess of vitamin A, birth control pills, and antidepressants have all been shown to promote hair loss in certain people. Infections of the scalp can cause hair loss as well as certain diseases like lupus and diabetes.
i thought humans lose naturally about 10 hairs a day....
yes! of course puberty can cause hair loss! because your body is changing! :)
Hi Acim :)
CAUSES OF HAIR FALL.
Our hair is composed of a type of protein called keratin. A single hair consists of stem (the part we see), a root under the skin and a follicle from which the hair root grows. The lower end of the follicle is the hair bulb, where the pigment gives color to the hair, ie, where melanin is produced.
The hair has a growth cycle and rest. During each cycle varies by person, but the phase of hair growth, known as an谩gena usually lasts two to three years. At this time, the hair grows approximately 1 centimeter per month. The resting phase is called tel贸gena, which usually lasts three to four months. At the end of the resting phase, the hair falls out and new hair begins to grow in its place. Thus, once the hair has fallen, the growth stage begins again.
Normally, most people lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. However, as the scalp contains about 100,000 hairs, the daily loss in principle should not be worrying.
In this sense, the gradual loss of a normal human aging. However, hair loss can lead to baldness when the drop exceeds the normal rate of regeneration, when the new hair is thinner than the hair loss or hair in patches sale or non-uniform.
Hair loss or baldness usually occurs only in adults. However, in some cases, some young people also lose their hair, which may be a sign that something is happening.
Hair loss during adolescence can mean that a person may be sick or be a sign of poor nutrition. Some medicines or medical treatments such as chemotherapy, or a very tight hairstyle like braids or Coletas also can cause hair loss. However, in most cases hair loss is temporary during adolescence and, once fixed the problem that causes hair to grow back naturally.
In this period deserves special attention Trichotillomania and eating disorders as it is during adolescence when the emergence of these problems can be detected and prevent them from becoming chronic.
All the problems of hair loss have an aesthetic solution that instantly and effectively solve the problem with absolute ease and comfort through custom hair prostheses or wigs as totally undetectable regardless of the treatment being conducted, are compatible and complementary .
Dermatologist
I hope this help in something.
Have a nice day Acim

yes! of course puberty can cause hair loss! because your body is changing! :)

Can stress cause hair loss?
for about the past 2 weeks ,suddenly i noticed tons of hair falling out in the shower....i mean i always get some kind of hair coming out,but this is crazy...
it seems like it s getting worse, cause now even when i run my finegrs through,i get a hand full of hair, not matter how many times i repeat it.
im assuming stress, cause i just had a physical a week before this started, and everything was great.
also, will it grow back,or can it cause permanent damage like bald spots????
btw,i always get breakage my hair isnt in that great of shape, but this is from the roots..Can stress cause hair loss?
For one thing, hair always grows back. Unless you have some kind of cell folicle infection, or course. And for another thing, EVERY TIME I go in the shower I find hairs all over the place, and my hair has still been all thick and long like it always is. I wouldn't worry about it. But see your doctor if you're really worried. Can stress cause hair loss?
Yes, stress can cause hair fall.
You need to a maintain a healthy diet to keep up with your tiring schedules. Healthy body and mind are a prerequisite for lustrous hair.
Here are some lifestyle mantras for healthy hair

I strongly reccommend coconut hair oil massages. Coconut hair oil makes hair strong and massages help you relax.
Yes it can and it will grow back but you should go to a doctor just in case.
Yes it can. And if it is really drastic hair loss, see your doctor.

DOES ACCUTANE CAUSE HAIRLOSS? IS IT PERMINENT OR JUST WHIL;E UR ON THE MEDICATION? PLEASE EXPLAIN YOUR EXPERIENCES OR SCIENTIFICDoes ACCUTANE cause hair loss?
Hair loss is one side effect that is seen with use of accutane, however it is quite a rare one. I think about 1.5% of people who use it may experience this, and its not just in the form of male pattern baldness, it is more patchy.
Speak to the doctor that prescribed it for you, and they will be able to tell you if the hair loss you are experiencing is actually due to the medication, or whether it is due to a normal pattern hair loss because there is a noticeable difference.Does ACCUTANE cause hair loss?
Your doctor has been irresponsible - he does know that there is a great risk of hair loss as a result of using accutane. He should have told you. However - read on and you will be encouraged that you will recover your hair but it will take a while. Below is a question that was asked of Dr Khadavi of
http://www.morphollica.com and he has given the answer below. Hope this is helpful
';Hello Dr. Khadavi I was on accutane for about 6 months and during my treatment I had no signs of hair loss. It was only after about 3 to 4 months that I started to notice my hair falling out a lot. I'm starting to see many strands of hair in my brush which I hardly ever had before. I hair is essentially falling out everywhere throughout my head, which includes the the top, and sides. The front of my hair where the hair line is, seems to be stronger than the other parts and not fall out as much, and the back of my head is better as well, since the hair is really short. One other thing, the hairs that fall out don't seem to have big roots attached to them, they seem to be small roots. Do these symptoms go with telogen effluvium? Finally, Have you ever had patients who had hair loss due to accutane? and if so, did you see that they regained their hair again? Thank you.';
Answer from DR KHADAVI:
';I have patients that have had hair loss while on Accutane and typically it may last for 6-9 months and most of the hair then regrows.
http://www.morphollica.com/ -Morphollica.com is a hair loss information and news site dedicated to covering treatments and options backed by scientific data.
I don麓t know what he means when he says most of it grows back. Perhaps you can contact him at that website.
If interested you may want to reseach my Best Answers about hair loss and a natural treatment I discovered after much experimentation and reseach. It definitely halts loss and restores growth but the results take several months. I do not know if it would help someone who has had accutane treatment.

What can cause hair loss on a ferret?
i live in california and got him 6 months ago so....i took my 3 year old ferret to the vet and they think its the ademin diese or what ever u call it but they couldnt do the test because the test was 400 plus they needed a x-ray and alot of other stuff and it would of been 800. so i desided 2 wait and c if it was just sesonal hair loss witch i heard ferrets have but the problem is, is his tail has blue lines on it and she has no hair on her tail and her back is verry bald and thats what i have read to be the main spot that they loose hair 4 adrenal diese, but she also has fleas so i dont know if shes scratching off her hair but i dont think thats likley because she doesnt have scratch marks on her back? so what do u think it is? What can cause hair loss on a ferret?
Did the hair loss just start recently or did you notice bald spots on her when you got her? There's a lot of things that could cause hair loss, adrenal being the most common. Stress, seasonal hair loss, and skin allergies could also be a possibility, but I think it sounds more like adrenal in your case. The only way you're going to know for sure is to have her tested The best test to have done would be the Adrenal Panel, run by the Uni. of Tenn. and is sometimes referred to as the ';Tennessee Panel'; - ask your vet about it. This is actually the only test that can confirm if a ferret is adrenal or not. Ultrasounds and x-rays are sometimes used, but sometimes the adrenal glands can appear normal even if there is a problem (so if I were you, I wouldn't waste the money on x-rays). Sometimes clinical signs are enough to diagnose a ferret (baldness, swollen vulva in females, excessive itchiness, loss of muscle mass and a ';potbellied'; appearance to name a few). The Adrenal Panel really is the way to go if your vet can't diagnose adrenal based on clinical signs alone.
You definitely want to do something about those fleas, too. Fleas can lead to anemia in your ferret. You can wash her with any shampoo safe for ferrets (it doesn't have to be a flea shampoo - any soapy water will work) to kill the fleas that are currently on her. Use a flea comb to comb her afterwards to pull off dead fleas or any that might still be alive. You might want to comb her daily with the flea comb until the fleas are gone. Thoroughly clean the cage and all of the bedding before putting her back in the cage. Vacuum your house often if you have carpets (vacuum the carpets once, then sprinkle baking soda over the carpets, and vacuum again about three to four days later - the baking soda will kill the fleas). Apple cider vinegar can also be added to their water to help repel fleas (3 tablespoons of ACV for every gallon of water). The ACV can be used after the fleas are gone to help prevent another infestation.
Good luck with your little girl. Definitely get her to a vet to be tested for adrenal (will your vet accept payment arrangements?) - if she has adrenal, the sooner you start her on treatment, the better she'll respond to it and the longer she'll be around. What can cause hair loss on a ferret?
That sounds like Adrenal to me. I think if you don't want your ferret to die you should get the tests done. I would pay loads of money to try and save my babies, no amount of money should be worth the death of your loved one.
That's just my opinion, but if it was me, I would pay the money.
Good luck!
Well, I would say don't get a pet if you cant afford to get them the help they need if they get sick. Save you money up (quick!) and go get your poor little ferret the assistance she needs. I have 2 ferrets and I would never let them suffer through anything. And you shouldn't either.
Idk maybe just stress???

Does Keppra cause hair loss?
I am thirteen and about two months ago I was diagnosed with Epilepsy.
Since then, I've been taken 750 mg Keppra pills twice a day, like the doctor recommended.
After I shower, there is a clunk of my hair in the drain. My mom said that she fears that my hair is literally falling out.
Sometimes, when i run my hand through my hair, a couple strands come out.
I have soemwhat thin hair, naturally. And now I;m really scared that this is going to become a serious problem, and i will have dramatic hair loss.
I was wondering is keppra causes hair loss.
Please answer. Does Keppra cause hair loss?
I just looked it up on wikipedia and under the side effects section the first thing listed was hair loss. Other side effects include pins and needles sensations, nausea, headache, and psychiatric symptoms ranging from irritability to depression.red lipstick
