Does isotretinoin cause hair loss?

I'm about to start treatment for acne using Isotretinoin, but I've been a bit put off by all of the rumors surrounding the drug.

One that I read about was that there is a possibility that the drug can cause hair to thin and fall out. Has this actually happened to somebody on the drug? Is it a rare side-effect? What causes it?

Also, one side-effect I know for sure is that it causes skin to dry out. On average how bad is this? Does it become so dry that it's unbearably irritable, and can a woman still wear makeup, or will the dryness make it impossible? Thankyou to anybody that replies.Does isotretinoin cause hair loss?
Yes. This medication has a lot to do with Hair loss and hair and skin related matters. The chemicals in this medicine viz. Isotretine itself is a very stong drug and it affects the health in many ways. So this medicine should not be administrated without the guidance of Medical practioners.
