Can itchy scalp cause hair loss??

only if your pullin your hair outCan itchy scalp cause hair loss??
why do you have itchy scalp? Is it because of the heating system in your home? Is it because of the drying shampoo you use? Is it just because you simply have dry skin? Are you excessively using your hair dryer? Are you making sure all the soap is off your scalp when you rinse it? Anyway when the scalp gets dry it flakes and the flakes can cover the hair follicle and stop the hair growth. So find out what the problem is and either change your shampoo, get some alcohol and first treat the scalp and then use a not-so-strong shampoo until you can figure out what's wrong. Try maybe a weak shampoo like Johnson %26amp; Johnson baby shampoo for a while, and make sure you have all the soap off your scalp. If you want to make sure all the soap is off you might want to try a vinegar rinse. Sure it will fragrance the first time, but you probably wash your hair often anyway and the fragrance will go away in one wash. Can itchy scalp cause hair loss??
Quite possibly
It'll cause dandruff and irritation from scratching it so much.

Hair loss comes from damage, particularly chemicals. And as you age. Pulling the hair out will not cause hair loss. If you continually do it over time, then yes it can cause hair loss...but not from pulling it out just once or twice. It's like tweezing eyebrows. They still grow back, but over the YEARS of constantly plucking them the hairs grow back thinner and less and less until they're not there.
I do not believe so because I have a family member who was dry scalp and she itches it a lot. I can tell you though, it causes bleeding and scabs on your scalp and It will look like dandruff because of this white flake stuff comming off your scalp.
yes it means that you need to wash it real good because if you don't then your hair is going to get dry and fall out
