Does diet cause hair loss?

does a change in diet cause hairloss or baldingDoes diet cause hair loss?
When you aren't getting enough nutrients your hair will fall out and become dull, as well as the many other things it does to your body. Make sure and diet right =)Does diet cause hair loss?
No, only if you take the diet to extremes, like not eating, that causes lack of nutrients and that way a person will have hair loss, and even more health problems, like anorexia, or other eating disorders. But if you take it slowly, and eat plenty of healthy foods, you won't experience any problems, i'm sure.
If you are not getting the proper vitamins and nutrients it can. My sister had major hair loss while losing about 50 pounds, however, she would not eat ANY foods with carbohydrates, or at least not 30 grams a day, like the diet she was on said to. I don't know if carbs have anything to do with healthy hair, but I do believe in a healthy diet.
yes it could cause hair loss if your not getting the proper nutrition in your diet make sure to eat healthy!! stress can also cause hair loss along with many other things.. if you feel that its getting bad then id go to the doctor and get it checked out they might be able to recommend your something for it.
May be. Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle of growing new hairs and loosing some. Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.
