Ever since i began using pantene products, my hair seems to be thinner when i grab it. Each strand of my hair has the same thickness, so im thinking im loosing hair. Does pantene cause hair loss?Pantene question? Can it cause hair loss?
I was using Pantene and I thought the same thing. I started using a different shampoo and don't have that much hair in the brush anymore.Pantene question? Can it cause hair loss?
DO an Answers Search for this Question ';16 years old, excessive hair loss?'; Questioner suffered serious hair loss using Pantene and so did a person answering the question. Also do do a Google ';Pantene causes hair loss'; Site planetearth.com and thebeautybrains.com and others come up with others who experienced loss. But so do many popular shampoos. Sunsilk is one of the worst. Best to do a Google ';Non Harmful shampoos'; You will find many - some are expensive and available only on line so refine search ';Availabe in stores'' and ';low cost''. Then go shopping for them at: Trader Joes, Earth Fare, Cost Plus, Wegmans, GNC, some Walmart stores, Natural health stores. My loss immediately stopped simply by switching to safe shampoos. Also be aware that over washing(daily) harms scalp and hair and can contribute to loss. As can hair dryers, perms, tints, bleaches, straighteners, tanning booths and sunlamps harm. See my other'; hair loss';, '; balding';, etc answers for a safe, natural products treatment that can immediately stop loss AND regrow hair. It's helped many on Answers.

Yes ..thats the same problem with me ..PANTENE DOES CAUSE HAIR LOSS AND ITCHING
go for sunslik instead ..especially the pink shampoo of sunsilk with conditioner!!
Pantene is by no means good for your hair. When I started losing hair ((it was for other reasons)) i was told to cut Pantene out, completely. My doctor told me it has enough wax in it to ';wax a floor';...literally. It doesn't actually CAUSE hair loss as far as i know, but it can damage your hair pretty badly.
I think Pantene is not a very good brand. it can damage your hair and leave ir flaky.go with a better brand like redken.
I think you've got something internal going on, and it has nothing to do with your hair care products. See a dermatologist if you really think you're losing your hair. For me, Pantene products are just fine and do no damage whatsoever. Everyone's hair is different; what works well for someone may be awful for the next person.
it has been tested on too many animals for it to make people loose hair.
no, doesn't cause hair loss
To my knowledge, no.
However, if you had been using a different brand of products for an extended period of time and then abruptly switched to Pantene, you may have caused some trauma to your hair. It may have been used to the composition of your previous hair products, and changing that homeostasis in your hair can be quite damaging.
Your hair loss may be due to stress or a chemical imbalance in your water supply. Make sure to check the pH level in your water occasionally, especially if your water source is a well.
