Will getting a haircut cause hair loss?

Or will my hair grow back? Reason I am asking is because I want to make sure that as long as I get a haircut, that it will not damage my hair in anyway of growing long. I am 20 years of age, and I've been noticing my hair growing back but very slowly then it use to. Also, I have been trying to let my hair grow out, but it seems my dad keeps forcing me to get a hair cut. Every time I try and speak up for my hair stating that I would like it to grow out more, my dad always tells me to get it cut or move out. So what do you all think is the best choice considering I'm 20 years old and is old enough to speak up for my hair, but my dad won't even let me.Will getting a haircut cause hair loss?
You can't make your hair grow faster by cutting it. Hair grows from your scalp, not the ends. It only seems to be growing faster if you had damaged hair and cut it off.

At 20 years old you have been an adult for over 2 years now. Just get out and do what you want with everything in your life or suck it up and play a little boy and live at home under his rules.

by cutting off the dead ends it will only grow back faster than leaving it be
hair does grow slower by age. it will keep growing but slower. its just the ageing process. it will grow back dont worry :)
