Does using the patch ortho evra cause hair loss or weight gain?

if it does cause weight gain is it because it gives you appetite or because it put something in your body to make you gain weight and if it causes hair loss is their anything that can help prevent that thanks for your helpDoes using the patch ortho evra cause hair loss or weight gain?
I used it for about a year, I guess.......I never had any problems with side effects, although I do think that weight gain is listed as a side effect with any type of birth control.





I never gained any weight with it, never felt hungrier than usual either. For me, it was a great method b/c I'm not so good at taking pills every day. This is just a once-a-week deal. And it regulates your period REALLY well.

I used ortho evra for almost 6-8 months. It cause me to gain weight. It did not make me have a big appetite. I had to stop taking it because it was causing me to have severe migraines and causing chest pain. I believe they are trying take this form of birth control off of the market. I don't recommend that anyone use this.
DONT USE ORTHO EVRA! theyre attempting a recall of it in my area, it has a higher risk of causing high blood pressure and other heart conditions. and when i used it for a few months it caused my skin to rash, and i would feel pain only in the area it was applied. (sorry i know that didnt exactly answer your question, but i just had to let you know if you were considering using it)
Weight gain is a given, it says so on the box. Plus new studies show that it's not very safe to use. Go to the doc. to get all the information you need.
