Vitamin E and hair loss
Hair and scalp care is just one of the many functions of Vitamin E. Vitamin E has the ability to slow down the aging process specifically graying of the hair. Vitamin E is also necessary in providing the scalp a good blood circulation by intensifying the uptake of oxygen. In this case, the hair will become healthier and baldness will be avoided.
Some food sources that are rich in vitamin E are green leafy vegetables like spinach, cold-pressed vegetable oils, wheat germ oil, nuts, grains, soybeans, eggs, and most cereals, which are fortified with vitamin E. Although these foods rich in vitamin E can be easily obtained, some people, specifically those who are experiencing hair loss, needs to take in added vitamin E supplement to solve their problems.Vitamin deficiency that causes hair loss?

Your hair, skin as well as nails are very sensitive to deficiencies in the diet and the vitamins and minerals provide a basis for improving your nutritional status to get and keep these tissues strong and resistant to infection and environmental factors.
iron
magnesium
manganese
selenium
zinc
Losing your hair can happen due to any number of reasons. It can be hereditary or too much stress. Certain medical conditions can contribute to hair loss as well as just getting older.
Another key component is vitamins. Having the proper amount of vitamins and minerals in your body can not only slow down hair loss, it can also begin restoring it. Here's a rundown on some of the vitamins that can give you the most help.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Taking omega-3 has proven to be good for your health in many different areas, but it also aids in feeding hair roots. Think of it as fertilizer so to speak. Your scalp will also benefit from omega-3. You'll find gel caps of omega-3 wherever vitamins are sold. They make an excellent supplement. Natural sources that provide omega-3 fatty acids include Tuna and Salmon.
Protein
Your hair is made up in a large part, from protein. So, in order to continue having a healthy head of hair, you need to eat fruits, vegetables, nuts, brown rice, and other foods containing protein. This will go a long way in preventing your hair from falling out.
Cysteine
A big ingredient of protein is the amino acid, cysteine. It does good things for your hair, as well as detoxify your entire body. You can get cysteine from eating foods such as nuts, onions, meat, fish, egg yolks, and even garlic.
Vitamin A and C
Both of these important vitamins can help in preventing hair loss. They can be found in green vegetables, fruits, carrots, broccoli as well as melons.
Vitamin B
All of your B complex vitamins can aid in growing hair and keeping it healthy. You can find vitamin B in milk, meats, and some fish.
All of these vitamins and minerals can be found in different foods, but you can also take them in pill form.
lack of protein or essential fatty acids causes hair loss.
A lack of Protein is important for the growth of strong hair and nails. Most people on a 'non-vegan diet rarely suffer from protein deficiency - as nearly all foods contain a certain amount of protein.
Foods containing Protein -
Grains, legumes (peas, beans and lentils), nuts, seeds, and vegetables.
A deficit in Fatty acids could also be causing hair loss. Omega-3 fatty acids are vitally important although a bit scarce in most peoples diets.
Foods containing Omega-3 Fatty Acids-
Tofu, canola oil, and walnuts, as well as others. The richest vegan source of omega-3 fatty acids can be found in flaxseed oil which is available in natural food stores (refrigerated). Flax oil is a pure vegetable fat and, like all fats, should be used in moderation - drizzled over salads, potatoes and vegetables.
I hope this is useful, take care and stay safe,
