My friend is 21 years old and always wears hats. No matter what he never takes it off. Recently his hair has started falling out. Could that be the reason that has he is losing hair?Does wearing hats all the time cause hair loss?

Unless the hat is worn so tight as to cut off circulation to the hair follicles, wearing a hat does not cause hair to fall out. Instead, hats can contribute positively by blocking the sun and preventing sunburn.
