I'm a hypothyroid and I've been on thyroid pills for about 3 1/2 years. My hair never really did have much volume, but lately more and more people have been commenting on my hair - it has no volume at all.
I was wondering if my thyroid pills might have anything to do with it. I'm on Eltroxin (it's a levothyroxine).
If so, is there any way to counter the effects of the drug?Does thyroid drugs cause hair loss?

Usually hair starts to thin out at the eyebrows as a warning sign of Hypothyroidism, meds shouldn't be doing this, I would recommend a visit to a Pharmacist and have a chat, they really do know there stuff.
