Does pamelor cause hair loss?

pamelor is a medicine that I take for migrane evry night, I've been taking for 3 months.Does pamelor cause hair loss?
Hi, the generic name for Pamelor is Nortriptyline hydrochloride. I checked it up with a list of drugs which is widely known to cause hair loss, and you know what - it is not listed!

But if you suspect your hair loss is due to Pamelor, then ask your doctor to see whether (1) it is possible to get around it by altering the dosage level, (2) it is possible to presceribe an alternative medicine.

If none is available, meaning Pamelor is the only effective meds for you, then you may want to try minoxidil. Minoxidil is used by many experts in the event that the offending drug cannot be discontinued. You can get info on minoxidil here:

Look up the sections on ';minerals and vitamins for hair loss'; and also ';hair loss prevention tips'; to make sure you are doing everything right for your hair.

*** My Success with Natural Techniques To Re-grow Lost Hair

Been on minoxidil ( R0gaine庐 ) for about a year and a half and have not seen even the smallest amount of regrowth that i almost fell into depression.

My hair only started visibly growing on the bald spot after skeptically trying out the various natural techniques to re-grow lost hair @ http://www.regrowmyhair.info

I would highly recommend this easy to follow step-by-step guide with pictures to anyone who is suffering from hair loss right now. But remember this isn't a miracle cure for baldness as you will also need to put in some effort in order to see results. And its only a minimum commitment of 15 minutes a day to help re-grow your lost hair.

Anyway, its also a cheaper and effective way of re-growing lost hair compared to those unnatural ways which may involve harsh chemicals that may have side effects.
I do not take pamelor, but my mother did, and yes it did for her. But it wasn't like she had bald spots. Just a lot of her hair came out all over. She had to use a drain catcher. She quit taking it, and is on something that starts with a t now, I'm sorry I don't know the name. But it did make her hair fall out, but I'm also not saying everyone is the same.
