i want to colour my hair not full just highlights..but my fiance tells me that it leads to whitening of hair and hair loss?is it true?
also can i have colours which give a natural look and are not too jazzy n bright?
i have a fair complexion and black eyes which colour will suit me?Does hair colouring cause hair loss?
The only way that you will lose your hair when coloring is if you keep constantly dying it... if you keep dying your hair IT WILL FALL OUT! My cousin dyed her hair like 3 or 4 times in 2 months and it came out by the handfuls. If you just do highlights then leave it alone I highly doubt that hair loss will result. I think auburn highlights might be good for you. Remember: have fun with dying your hair, just don't overdo it.Does hair colouring cause hair loss?
hair coloring doesn't do hair loss but doing it alot cuases hair damage, plus if it isn't the right color it might look weird. if you have brown hair and you want like light brown highlights that might be good
Either Black or a dark plum color- but ur fiance is right....but only if u do it too much ie as in more then every 3 months
yes coloring your hair too much can cause hair loss depending how often you do it but if it's your first time experimenting i doubt it will happen.people with a fair complexion tend to look good with like dark browns and blondes
No. I have been dying my hair blonde since I was 13, I'm now 51.
My hair is long and very pretty.
Buy any hair dye you want follow the directions and you'll be fine.
Bleaching hair is what causes hair loss, but very few people bleach anymore, and you do have to go to a salon to have that done.
Any color of highlighting should be done at a salon, they can also help you chose a color thats right for you.
There are many reasons for hair loss. Hair loss could be due to stress, medication, hormonal imbalance etc. DHT and male pattern baldness are closely related to each other. The dihydrotestosterone has a very bad effect on the hair follicles, which slows down the growth of hair or stops hair growth completely...

i think
I have been coloring my hair since 1995 and I am 27 years old. I have not lost any of my hair....I have been using the same hair color all the time....I wouldn't worry about it...especially if you are getting highlights done by a professional...go for it!
BTW, men don't know anything...LOL
go for a nuatral look if possable for the color and in some cases yes you can lose your hair if it is thin and if you have thick hair........go 4 it!!!!
Depends on what you hair is like naturaly. It will if you have naturally dry hair because really is all about moisture. Oh and as for the best hair for you, I am thinking something dark, like Red, or an Almound color. It will bring out your dark eyes and match your fair skin color.
