Yes sometimes but it usually does not!! If you are having this problem is it possible that it may be caused by a product you areusing to treat the psoriasis?? Or are you possibly damaging your scalp from scratching??? Also is it possible that hair loss is an inherited trait in your family?? I use Dermarest psoriasis scalp treatment - it is mild, it removes flakes overnight and then I can use regular shampoo in the morning and am good to go all day. It feels good going on (unless your scalp is too raw) and is soothing and relieves the itch. It is non greasy and does not stain clothing or bedding and it does not smell like many of the coal tar products. After putting it on at night I can just comb out the flakes easily the next morning without damaging my scalp! My scalp feels clean and can breathe!! I encourage you to give it a try!!
