Can hard water cause hair loss?

I'm very used to my hair falling out in the shower but while on holiday in Mexico it didn't happen. It could not have been the food because it was an instant change. I would expect it to be worse after swimming in chlorine water.

Maybe it is just coincidence as I haven't noticed this change on any other holiday abroad. Can hard water cause hair loss?
hard water can cause this hair loss. but you know chlorinated water, it just increase the rate of fall.. better you should take bath once in a week when going abroad..Can hard water cause hair loss?
when in the shower its natural for your hair to come out. on an average day a fair amount of hair falls out. while in the shower your hair will come out more if you have had your hair tied up all day as the hair that has fallen out has had nowhere to go. so if on holiday you left your hair loose then its less likely to come out in the shower and its probably come out in the pool.

hope that helps a bit :)
A multimillionaire will be made one day the day a scientific researcher finds a simple, inexpensive, universally successful hair regrowth product. And that day will come. The amount of money being funneled into hair loss research is phenomenal, and as long as our society puts such great stock in appearance and beautiful heads of hair, the research will continue until that simple cure is found.Until then, men and women must investigate and experiment with a variety of products which will have a variety of results, dependent upon the individual. Each human body is unique, with unique levels of hormones, chemicals, and enzymes. For this reason, to date, there is not a universal cure. Some people experience reduction in hair loss and solid regrowth, while others using the same product may not see the same result

That is a good question. I have hard water myself, but have not had much of a problem with it. I assume that changes in the water ph can cause a temporary hair loss, but if this has been an ongoing issue, then you may need to try something for it. In my resource is the stuff I use, it has been tremendous to me.
Changes in water can make a difference. But if your hair is falling out, you should find the cause.
