I dye my hair a dark plum-black (was blonde) and do it every 4 weeks. I've been doing this for about a year. I'm worried about long term affects, such as damage to my scalp, loss of hair...
I've had no problems so far, my scalp is never irritated by the dye and it's in fairly good condition as I use intensive conditioners.
I want to continue to dye my hair but how will this affect my hair and scalp? Can hair dye cause hair loss?
Yes, in the long run the scalp will dry and the roots will weaken so i is advisable to do intensive hair treatment once or twice a month and take care of your diet.. A good hydration is what is needed and it has to be 100% natural with no chemicals involved because chemicals penetrate the scalp and the kidneys are not able to flush them out so invariably damage goes on for years and a unhealthy body is reflected through skin and hair.
So we need to look external and internal nutrition. Lots of fruits, vegetables and protein and vitamin B6, B 12, A and E
Try a lotion called Ziravie, plus check their website which gives a combination of fruits and vegetables that helps to strengthen the hair roots internally.
The lotion that I use helps to accelerate hair growth but it is a a process first it calms the scalp, itching reduces, then with discipline use hair fall stops, within 3 weeks of use the hair roots strengthens and you start to see volume and silkiness
The website is www.ziravie.com but I bought it in Spain and now it is available on ebay.co.ukCan hair dye cause hair loss?
Yes, if you keep using hair dye, your hair will eventually start falling out and you will have very thin hair. A better dye to use is Henna. But if you use Henna without mixing anything into it, it will turn your hair a reddish/orange color. So to make it black, you have to put Indigo in the mixture. You can also use a different kind of Henna just to condition your hair. But I don't know if that'll stop your hair from thinning. I hope this helps!
Nope. I've been dyeing my hair for years %26amp; the dye can make your hair brittle and can damage it but I've never heard of it causing hair loss. Usually they say to dye it every 4-6 weeks to keep the color fresh so as long as you're not having any adverse effects I would think you'll be ok.

My dad had been suffering from hair loss and only recently he started to see a huge difference with his hair (lots of fine hair growing out especially at the temple area) after trying out the various natural techniques taught to grow hair for 1 week at this website http://www.regrowmyhair.info
I must say its a very informative, effective and easy to follow step-by-step guide. I highly recommend it to anyone who is suffering from hair loss.
Hope it helps ! =)

it does wreck your hair folicles,%26amp; dull your normal hair.Making your hair brittle %26amp; prone 2 split ends.Good conditioner %26amp; a rinse should be benifital,(use luke warm/ cool water 2 rinse hair,as 2 hot makes oil glandswork over-time.Resulting in greasy, non -even distribution.Finally,2 make sure ,u sort u'r colour ,b sure of that. What i would say,is definately condition your hair.IDEA !!! use a VO5 OIL TREATMENT It actually works,as i found out ,following being stuck in hospital 4 a month, not being able 2 get out of bed.Ihated it.But u can overcome the annoyance,But i hated becoming a gey haired person. One thing i would add is at least we're not men,who natrually go bald.
I don't know.If your hair comes out naturally quite easily then properly yes because my brother's does(he's a non-bald generation) and so do my friends who's hair comes out easily. Some people have non come out(like me)useing a good quailty not loads of money but quialty mid range one should be better because you know cheap stuff can be cheap and have chemicals in which rings down the price but not do great things for your hair hope this helps
it shouldn't drastically effect you if you haven't had any problems already like an allergic reaction ect.
the most that will happen is your hair could become a little dry, especially at the ends, but just keep conditioning and getting periodic trims and you should be in good shape :)
This shouldn't affect your hair at the roots or cause breakage as long as you are only coloring it. If you started to bleach your hair then I might be worried but color with all of the conditioners you seem to be using should not affect your hair/if its gonna fall out. Hope this helps!!!!
yes read why here http://forgethairloss.blogspot.com/2009//a>
it shouldnt do but it can if you have a xtreamly bad reaction!!!
but has 2 be soooo bad that its burning your hair!!!
but its like 1 n 100000 people soo dont swet it!
I think that the only way hair dye can asue hair loss is i you dye your hair several times in ONE week! Sounds like you should be fine i your making sure your using intensive conditioners. So don't worry!
Hope this helped xXx
