I am really worrried....i am gonna start takin it in a week or so and i have never taken any kind of birth control pills before.....i was reading about it and a lot of women wrote that their hair started thinning after they started taking birth control pills.....i am thinkin over my decision because i love my hair......any suggestionsLoestrin 24 causes hair loss?
Hair loss --- IF it happens --- is usually light, temporary and directly related to the fluctuation in hormones.
The only thing to do is to start the pills and if you notice considerable loss that doesn't taper off after 3 months, ask to change to a different formulation.
I can tell you that I've been using LoEstrin for over 10 years and have more hair than I know what to do with.
