It's more likely that the reason you're on the lexapro in the first place is the cause of the hair loss. Stress will often trigger that. It is supposed to but it all depends on the person. I was on it for years and I still have a full head of hair. I think it is a matter of the reactioon of the person. I've been on it for six months and I haven't had any significant hair loss. I guess it's possible though.
