Hair dye causing hair loss...?

i recently like last week dyes my hair for the first time, and now im experiencing excessive hair loss. could someone tell me reasons why? or how to stop it!Hair dye causing hair loss...?
It could be a number of reasons, such as the type of hair dye you used, what condition your hair was previously in before dying it, or how long you left the dye in your hair before washing it out.
