H2O2 causing hair loss?

I work in a Lab that uses hydrogen peroxide to clean with, ever since I started working there I've noticed my hair has been falling out more than normal in the shower/when I brush it. I'm not bald or anything, but I don't want to get that way either. I don't dye my hair or use a blow dryer. It's always been thin and very soft so I want to keep it that way. Any suggestions on how to stop it from falling out? Oh, I already use a strengthening shampoo. Would a color treated shampoo help?

HELP! I love my hair! And I don't want to lose it!H2O2 causing hair loss?
There may be an underlying issue that's causing you to lose your hair.

Have you had a recent diet change? A protein deficiency can cause hair loss.

Genetics can cause hair loss.

Thyroid problems can cause hair loss.

Stress can cause hair loss.

Dry skin on your scalp can stop new hair from coming in.

Whether you have dandruff or not, it may be a good idea to try a dandruff shampoo once or twice a week it helps to restore the skin on your scalp.

You should go see a dermatologist, there are a couple prescription lotions and mousee they can have you try. They can do a biopsy on your scalp and try to determine what is causing your hair loss. There are a couple oral medications you can try too.

I use:

Luxiq (mousse)

Nizoral (shampoo)

If you have prescription coverage before you go to the pharmacy on Luxiq make sure its covered, its about $250 a bottle without insurance! Or at least check for a generic...lol

I also take biotin vitamins.H2O2 causing hair loss?
You shouldn't be having your hair exposed hydrogen peroxide chemicals at work for any reason. Prolonged exposure is not good and could even be potentially dangerous to your health besides your hair. You may want to check into the exposure for sure and possibly see what your local laws and regulations are from te EPA on exposure.
Here i s an excellent site with some wonderful options for you. It will definitely help you. Have a look. http://fdoctors27.notlong.com/4AApCfc
Have your thyroid checked. And look into other reasons for hair loss.
