Does ZOLOFT cause hair loss?

I started Zoloft last Friday.. so I have only been taking it for 5 days. I have heard that it can cause hair loss. I feel like the last couple of days I have been losing a lot more than usual. Is it possible that I could already be seeing this side effect? Is hair loss even a side effect of Zoloft? Please help! It's starting to make me worried. The thought of losing my hair stresses me out even more!Does ZOLOFT cause hair loss?
I have never heard of this. Look up on line for side effects. I don't have the website but I am pretty sure if you do your research you should be able to find out the history. I don't think you should worry. If you are worried about hair loss start drinking the Aloe Vera juice. It works for so many other things as well.Does ZOLOFT cause hair loss?

Not commonly no. The average amount of hair loss is about 100 hairs per day at most. Age would be a consideration considering women can suffer from premature hair loss, but I'm pretty sure it is a recessive trait. Though not uncommon as you get older. I would ask you physician, but it is unlikely that Zoloft is the concern.
