Does Prilosec cause hair loss?

I have GERD and used to take Prevacid but my insurance wasnt covering it and I was paying $168.00 a month and it just got too expensive so I spoke to a doctor and switched to Prilosec. Since then my hair has gotten thinner. I'm not sure if it is due to the medication but I have heard it can cause thinning. Does anyone know?

I take Prilosec and have for sometime. My hair is long, so thick I have to have it thinned, naturally curly %26amp; strong. So, no it does not cause hairloss.
